PRESS RELEASE
HOWARD COUNTY ROTARY CLUBS ANNOUNCE
“MARCH 2021 ROTARY’S BUSINESS OF THE MONTH”
Ellicott City, MD (March, 2021) – The Rotary Clubs of Howard County (http://www.howardcountyrotarymaryland.org/) are proud to announce Hudson Coastal Raw Bar & Grill in Maple Lawn as their business of the month. Recognizing a local business each month gives the Rotary Clubs of Howard County a chance to express their gratitude to local community business owners who help better our community.
Hudson Coastal Raw Bar & Grill, known as a coastal seafood restaurant with a relaxed dining atmosphere, is owned by Tricia and Brad Hudson. Tricia and Brad pride themselves on giving back to the community. Trish is from Montgomery County and Brad is from Howard County. The couple decided to raise their family in Howard County. Trish explained, moving to HoCo and starting a business in HoCo was part of the couple’s larger plan, “We wanted to be in a community that could support us and we could support.”
The couple’s list of philanthropic giving is nearly endless. The Hudsons give a “big check” to a local organization every year. Recipients have included the Ulman Cancer Fund, ALS, and Comfort Cases to name a few. The couple also believes in habitat restoration and participates in the Oyster Recovery Partnership. They never hesitate to support a local high school and are strong supporters of a number of the Rotary Clubs in Howard County. Most recently, the Hudsons provided meals to Howard General Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital health care workers during the peak of the pandemic.
Members of the Columbia Town Center Rotary Club (http://www.ctcrotary.org/) chose to honor Tricia and Brad because “they are constantly giving to our community and are Rotarians at heart.” Tricia noted “We are very grateful to the Howard County Community for their support as well as the Columbia Town Center Rotary Club for the recognition of our efforts.”
