PRESS RELEASE
HOWARD COUNTY ROTARY CLUBS ANNOUNCE
“JUNE 2021 ROTARY’S BUSINESS OF THE MONTH”
Ellicott City, MD (June 2021) – The Rotary Clubs of Howard County (http://www.howardcountyrotarymaryland.org/) are proud to announce Pam Long Photography in Old Ellicott City as their business of the month. Recognizing a local business each month gives the Rotary Clubs of Howard County a chance to express their gratitude to local community business owners who help better the Howard County community and its neighbors.
Pam Long, owner of Pam Long’s Photography (http://seniorsbypamlongphotography.com/)
Relocated to Old Ellicott City in 2013. Ms Long is an ardent supporter of not only Ellicott City businesses and residents but she is also supports numerous charitable organizations throughout Howard County.
Ms Long is a constant presence behind Old Ellicott City promotions such as Girls Night Out, Spring Fest, and Midnight Madness. Pam also supports Blossoms of Hope, Zaching Against Cancer, and Stuff the Backpack. She recently organized Paint the Town Orange to support the Baltimore Orioles. Last fall, she organized a fan event for the Baltimore Ravens. Ms Long might, however, be best known for the tireless work she did to help build back Old Ellicott City after it was ravished by two floods. Not only did she haul buckets of mud out of her neighboring businesses, she also documented the condition with photographs and videos.
The Sunrise Club of Ellicott City (https://www.sunriserotaryec.org/) nominated Pam Long’s Photography for Rotary Business of the Month. Both Andy Stewart, the club’s president, and Nellie Arrington, the club’s membership chairperson said in unison, “We know who deserves this award! It is Pam Long.”
