HOWARD COUNTY ROTARY CLUBS ANNOUNCE
“DECEMBER’S BUSINESS OF THE MONTH”
Ellicott City, MD (December 15, 2020) – The Rotary Clubs of Howard County (http://www.howardcountyrotarymaryland.org/) are proud to announce Cindy's Spirits in Elkridge as their business of the month. Recognizing a Business of the Month is a new initiative sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Howard County.
Long term Elkridge residents Cindy and Tom Quick have owned and operated Cindy’s Spirits since 2007. Cindy is also the Elkridge Rotary club president and comes from a family of Rotarians. "I want to congratulate Cindy's Spirits, known as the "heart of Elkridge", for being our December Business of the Month recipient", said Okonski. Most recently, Cindy offered to sponsor the Pints for Polio event, hosted by Rotaract of Howard County (http://www.howardcountyrotaract.org/) to raise funds to help eradicate Polio. "Giving back to the community is a main focus of Rotary," Okonski explained, "so it only makes sense to recognize our local businesses that do the same." In addition to the Business of the Month initiative, the Rotary Clubs of Howard County have launched another new initiative: 'Support local - shop local'.
